These are
the ingredients, but add or subtract quantities to fit your personal desires
- 2-3 lb. of
Chuck Roast
- Bay Leaves
for seasoning
- 2 garlic
cloves smashed
- Carrots suggested
1-2, chopped in chunks
- 1/2 large Onion,
sliced in chunks
- 1 rib Celery

Soak it
all with your favorite BBQ sauce
Add all
the ingredients together into a pot except for your BBQ sauce. Bring to a boil
with water then cover and turn the heat down to simmer. Let beef simmer for
2-1/2 hours or until the meat falls apart. Remove the meat but don’t dump out
the remaining liquid. Let the meat cool and pull the beef apart using forks.
Add the shredded beef to a big bowl. Add the BBQ sauce and some of the leftover
liquid to give it a pasty feel (like cole slaw) Add ¾ cup of the leftover
liquids and BBQ sauce and place the beef in a pan covered in foil. Heat on the
grill and serve on toasted hamburger buns. Hope you like it.
